About me

MarusekI earned my PhD in social science from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. My doctoral research focused on Islamic activism in Lebanon and was funded by the generous support of the Mellon Foundation. I hold a masters degree from the Graduate Program in International Affairs at The New School in New York City, where my concentration was socioeconomic development. Prior to my graduate studies, I worked in the arts and publishing in London and New York and received my bachelors degree in literature and art history from Goldsmiths, University of London.
